Thank you for this opportunity to present my information to you for consideration. I have over twenty years of accounting and business consulting experience. I am fortunate to hold many licenses including: Accounting, Debt Counselor, Insurance Broker (220), Math Teacher, and Mortgage Broker.

I enjoy giving back to our community in several different ways including sitting on the board of many not-for-profits including Community Faith Based Support organization, SCORE (division of the SBA), and as President of the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce, Parenthood Coalition, South American Relief Fund, Treasurer of Broward Trust (Historical Society), Secretary of the Urban League's IDA program, and Treasurer of the Lauderhill Sister Cities Program as well as several others.

My law firm has sponsored many community events including the Lauderhill Back to School Health Fair, where over 800 families received book bags and immunization for free. Over 5300 people received a holiday meal and were acculturated to Broward County with many beginning friendships through Thanksgiving Holiday Orphan Meal (THOM)

I currently give over 20 classes on business issues such as entrepreneurship, the use of QuickBooks, and on starting your own business. I have instructed for the Florida Board of Realtors, Hispanic Unity, Urban League, Broward County, City of Ft. Lauderdale, City of Hollywood and City of Miami.

I have written several articles related to business, law, and taxation for many different local publications. I have also participated on several radio programs featuring my business knowledge and tax expertise, as well as a talk show host for Gospel Radio 15.20AM.

However, I am most proud of my involvement with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and being a single parent.
